WORLD HISTORY FINAL EXAM REVIEW

To the World History students that are taking the exam tomorrow,

Here is a review of the material you will be tested on:

All the terms and names from Chapter 36 Section 3, including the terms "limited war" and "migration".
Understand the terms:
-Proliferation
-NATO & SEATO
-Civil Rights Movement
-Lynching
-Fundamentalism
-Ethnicity
-Terrorism
-Segregation
-Nuclear Weapons
-Genocide (particularly during the Holocaust and Rwanda)
-General information on the United Nations (like what you researched for your assignment)
-Who the U.N. Peace keepers are what their function is (hint, where/how have they failed)
-There will be questions on the film "The Great Debaters" which we watched in class.
-Be able to give examples of terrorism committed on U.S. soil.
-Be able to explain the concept of global interdependence; its pros & cons.
-General biographical information on Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., the Dalai Lama, and Mother Teresa.
